My umbrella has a screw installed on the bottom, can I still use a beachBUB?
Of course you can! We have a whole Knowledge Base Article about how to do this. Just click here.

My beachBUB collar is slipping when I fill my beachBUB. What can I do?
When attaching your collar for the first time make sure the hook bolts are unscrewed all the way along with the locking nuts. Once the collar is positioned correctly, hand tighten the hook bolts up against the umbrella pole. Then slip the circular side of the dual-sided tool over the hook bolt and turn until the hooks are in an upright position and slightly embedded into the pole. It's important that each hook bolt makes a slight dimple in the pole to prevent it from slipping. The last step is to tighten the locking nuts against the collar using the wrench side of the tool.

My beachBUB collar is too big for my pole.
If your umbrella pole is less than 3/4" in diameter, unscrew each hook bolt and remove the locking nuts. Re-insert each hookbolt into the collar without the locking nuts. Then screw the locking nuts into the hookbolts from the INSIDE of the collar.
